Gentle ultrasonic spray.
Ultrasonic energy creates a gentle spray that can be directed at a defined target area. The low spray velocity limits overspray and helps reduce material loss. Different nozzle geometries suit different applications, vessel shapes and spray coverage requirements.
Water produces an average droplet diameter of 50 µm. Liquid compatibility depends on formulation: the stated limits are less than 30% solids and viscosity below 50 cP. The liquid delivery arrangement can use a low-pressure metering pump or gravity feed.
The base system includes the generator and converter, cables and wrench set. The atomizing probe is a separate component, with standard, flat, radial, upward-spray and full-wave geometries available.
